NdFeB magnet with Everlube
Everlube has excellent abrasive resistance, good appearance, excellent corrosion resistance and chemicalstability.
It can be used in series size, and widely used in automobile, medical industry and so on.
The coating thickness is about 15um,The test we always done for it is 72h salt spray test
and 72h PCT/HAST test. And it can be test 500h under 85% humidity and 85% temperature
without any change of the coating. The max working temperature is 145℃.
NdFeB Magnets in Ni-Cu-Ni coating
It is not recommended to use the magnet without a protective layer. A triple layer plating of
NickelCopperNickel (NiCuNi) is the standard coating. Unless requested otherwise, this NiCuNi
coating is always applied to the magnets.
However, the level of protection given by any coating depends on the environment the magnet
will be subjected to and how the coating is looked after. If the coating is scratched or broken,
it will not offer protection from moisture.
The coating thickness of NiCuNi is above 12um,the test always done for it is 24h salt spray
test and 72h PCT.The max working temperature is 200℃.Some client will also choose to use
only Ni+Cu or only double Ni.
NdFeB Magnets in Zinc coating
Zinc coating is thinner than the NiCuNi coating, the normal coating thickness is 6um.
It is the environmental Cr3+ Zinc , so you don’t need to worry about the pollution.
Its anticorrosion ability is a little weaker. So it can be used in shortterm anticorrosion
environment. Its advantage is beautiful in appearance because of its color ,its permeability
is better than NiCuNi.
The test always done for Zn coating is 24h salt spray test, the max working temperature is 160℃。
